Option 4: Design an academic program on the topic of circularity connected to academic research centers, regional community, or tailored to a specific industry sector.
Leaning Design
The learning design develops expertise in a particular discipline but the curriculum is highly innovation focused. The curriculum furthermore focuses on a particular industry sector, includes primary research activities, and works closely with the relevant community and/or industry advisory board. Authentic learning tasks are woven throughout the curriculum to cross pollinate ideas, innovation, and solutions between the classroom and the real world. Ideally, this initiative directly supports the mission of one or more of the universities initiatives and research centers.
